Umshiang double decker root bridge

QUESTION =  Meghalaya, a North-Eastern state of India, is home to a marvel of bio-engineering: living root bridges. The local Khasis have perfected the art of creating living root bridges using rubber tree roots and betel nut trunks. These bridges take over 10-15 years to grow but last around 500 years and get stronger with time as the roots grow! The Umshiang double decker root bridge is the only one of its kind in the world. One has to cross over 3500 steps across hills, and rickety rope pathways to reach this beautiful place. It's all worth it! Where is this ?

ANSWER = Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya, the wettest place on earth
