Ist Cricket Player to win a Man of the Match award for fielding

Question. =   Who was the first cricket player to win a Man of the Match award for fielding. ?

Answer = Gus Logie of West Indies; (3 catches, 2 runouts, Did not bat, Did not bowl) in the match against Pakistan on 28th Nov.1986. A brilliant display of fielding by Logie supported West Indies' bowlers as Pakistan were dismissed for 143. In addition to his three catches, Logie effected both run-outs, the first accounting for Miandad just as he and Ramiz were threatening to establish Pakistan's innings

Subsequently three more cricketers have also won the award for fielding:-

1) IVA Richards (3 catches, Did not bat, 4-0-21-0) ; Except IVA Richards all bowlers able to pickup a wicket. But the man of the match awarded to IVA Richards just because of his fielding. It was in MRF World Series (Nehru Cup), 2nd SF: India v West Indies at Mumbai, Oct 30, 1989.

 2) Jhonty Rhodes against West Indies for  Jonty Rhodes (5 catches, 40 runs, Did not bowl) ;
C.A.B. Jubilee Tournament (Hero Cup), 4th Match: South Africa v West Indies at Mumbai (BS), Nov 14, 1993

 3) Mark taylor vs. West Indies, snaffled 4 in the slips .He received the award for both his captaincy and four catches against the West Indies at Sydney on 8-12-1992.
